Easy access, near to the port and not very far away from the city centre. Our host was very kind and always helpful with information and suggestions for activities. We really liked the flat, as it was cool in the night, but still space enough and all the amenities in the room were very good.
The shower cabin could be a little bit small for someone who is used to shower in bigger bathrooms

Overall, I was satisfied with the stay. The accommodation has been recently renovated and everything appears new and well kept. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with a practical induction hob. The owner was very kind, attentive and always available. A pleasant and comfortable apartment.
The only negative aspect, for me, was that there was quite a bit of street and neighbor noise.

Everything is within walking distance — about 20 minutes to the train station, ferry port, and bus connections, making it easy to travel around the coast and to other cities. The apartment is generally comfortable and suitable for a short stay, with good accessibility to transport and the city center. Overall, it is a practical option for staying in Salerno, especially if you prioritize location and easy access to transport over amenities. The host was very friendly and helpful, and provided useful advice about local information and tourist places.
However, there are a few downsides: there is no window and no iron available.
